Accepting an invite

Open the Accept invitation link in your email, then log in or create an account with the invited email address within 14 days.

When an admin invites you to their organisation or team, you get an email titled "You're invited to join" followed by the organisation or team name. Choose Accept invitation in that email. The link is single-use and expires 14 days after it was sent.

Accept the invitation

  1. Open the link from the email.
  2. If you are not signed in, the page tells you to log in or create an account with the invited email address. Choose Log in if you already have an Evolve Sim account, or Create an account if you do not.
  3. Use the same email address the invitation was sent to.
  4. Once you are signed in, the invitation is accepted. You see "Invitation accepted" and are taken to the portal.

From then on, the sims your organisation has assigned or shared with you appear in your portal, and your practice runs on your organisation's session allocation rather than your own.

The email address must match

The invitation is tied to the address it was sent to. If you sign in with a different address you see "this invitation was issued to a different email". Sign out, then sign in or create an account with the invited address. If that address is wrong, ask the admin who invited you to send a new invitation to the right one.

Other messages

  • "invitation has expired". The 14 days have passed. Ask your admin to invite you again.
  • "invitation is no longer pending". The invitation was already accepted or withdrawn. If you cannot see your organisation in the portal, ask your admin.
  • "invitation not found". The link is incomplete. Copy it from the email again, or ask for a fresh one.

What role you get

You join as a team member unless the admin chose a different role when inviting you. A team member can run assigned sims and see their own results. If you need to invite others or see team results, your admin can make you a team admin later.

If your organisation uses single sign-on, you may not need an invitation at all. Signing in through SSO adds you to the organisation automatically. See Signing in through your organisation's SSO.
