Challenging a score

Use Request a review on your own result page to have a person look at an AI score. The score does not change until someone reviews it.

Every score in Evolve Sim is generated by AI, and you can ask a person to look at it. Challenging a score never changes it by itself. It creates a request that a human resolves.

Request a review

  1. Open Personal Results and choose the run.
  2. Scroll below the scorecard to the box headed Think this score is wrong?.
  3. In the field What do you think the assessment got wrong?, say what you think the assessment missed or misread. Point to the part of the conversation if you can.
  4. Choose Request a review.

The box changes to "Sent. Someone will review this result." That status stays on the result page while the challenge is open.

Who can challenge

Only you can challenge your own result, and only a run that was scored. A run marked Completed, not assessed has no score to challenge. Run it again for an assessed result.

There is no time limit. You can challenge a score from any past run.

You can have one open challenge per run. If you try again while one is open you see "A challenge for this result is already open".

What happens next

A person who administers you in Evolve Sim, such as your team admin or organisation admin, opens the same result page. They see a box headed Review this result with three choices. Confirm as correct keeps the score as it is. Amend score replaces it with a new score and needs a reason. Withdraw score clears the score and also needs a reason. Nobody can review their own score.

The original score and any change are both kept. The evidence panel on your result, headed How this score was calculated, shows whether the score is still "AI-generated, not yet reviewed by a person", has been "reviewed and confirmed by a person", or was "amended by a person".

Your challenge also stops the run and its transcript from being deleted under your organisation's retention schedule while it is open.

If nothing happens

Evolve Sim does not send an email when you raise a challenge or when a score is reviewed. If your score has not been looked at after a reasonable time, tell your team admin or manager directly. If you are an individual with a Learner Pass and have no admin, use the Contact support form.
